Director, Corporate Sponsorships & Marketing
Reports to: President & General Manager
Status: Full Time
The Director, Corporate Partnerships & Marketing is responsible for both the sponsorship and marketing strategic plans. This position will work directly with the President to provide leadership and strategic direction for the purpose of securing business partnerships and furthering marketing efforts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Establish and implement 1 and 3 year sponsorship sales and marketing plans.
- Create sponsor inventory packages, rate cards and proposals to meet established sales goals.
- Prospect, negotiate and close corporate sponsorships, including those for non-spring training inventory.
- Create effective activation programs and ensure fulfillment of all contractual obligations, including hospitality (suites, groups, etc.).
- Research and identify industries and organizations to contact and solicit for partnership opportunities.
- Establish relationships with potential individuals and organizations to achieve sales goals.
- Serve as liaison with Dodger and White Sox sponsorship departments for possible joint partnerships or activation of team sponsors.
- Hire, train and manage seasonal intern to assist in sponsor fulfillment and game presentation.
- Create new events to generate profits in the areas of hospitality, youth baseball, community events and special events/concerts; manage internal and external assets to execute these events.
- Create brand strategy and strategic marketing plans and programs to drive revenue goals and strengthen brand position with primary focus on tickets sales and corporate partnerships.
- Coordinate the development and design of all facility advertising, marketing and collateral materials.
- Develop game scripts and game presentation plans in conjunction with Dodgers and White Sox, including game day promotions, sponsored game day elements and pre-game/in-game entertainment.
- Support ticket sales team efforts and requests through e-marketing, database and web-site management.
- Manage and maintain website, social networking sites and email marketing database.
- Oversee collection of relevant customer data (both demographic and psychographic).
- Manage in-game video/audio production including staffing, broadcasts, video/scoreboard content/operation, game webcasts, etc.
- Prepare timely and accurate sales reports/forecasts for management.
- Prepare and manage annual sponsorship and marketing budgets.

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 5 years related experience, preferably in professional sports.
- Knowledgeable in the practices and principles related to the sale and implementation of effective corporate sponsorships and proven record of generating new business and retaining clients.
- Knowledge of marketing campaigns, social media platforms and event production/presentation.
- High energy with ability to remain focused on sales goals and work independently.

Gameday Grounds Crew Member
Reports to: Grounds Supervisor
Status: Seasonal/Part-Time
Gameday grounds crew members will assist in operating and maintaining designated playing fields, bullpens, pitching mounds, batting cages/tunnels and common areas at the facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Assist in preparation, maintenance and restoration of grounds as directed, including any and all activities or tasks fundamental to baseball field care.
- Set up and break down equipment for batting practice and games.
- Drag infield between innings as directed.
- Operate powered equipment such as mowers, tractors, twin-axle vehicles and sod cutters.
- Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes and hedge and brush trimmers.
- Ensure use of proper equipment and adhere to safety standards and precautions.
- Maintain, clean and repair tools, equipment and structures.
- Gather and remove litter.
- Provide support in other stadium activities and special events.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Field maintenance experience at a baseball/athletic facility and/or enrollment in two- or four-year turf horticulture program.

- Good health with the ability to lift up to 100 pounds and push and pull heavy objects. Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time and work in extreme heat and harsh conditions.

Groundskeeper
Reports to: Grounds Assistant Supervisor
Status: Full-Time
Groundskeepers are responsible for operating and maintaining designated playing fields, bullpens, pitching mounds, batting cages/tunnels and common areas at the facility and ensuring a safe and competitive playing surface that exceeds MLB standards for professional baseball.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Prepare, maintain and restore grounds within assigned field complex as directed, including any and all activities or tasks fundamental to baseball field care.
- Work with other grounds staff as directed.
- Support Supervisor's staff and resource schedule/allocation program.
- Report field issues such as turf stress, disease, irrigation problems, etc.
- Operate powered equipment such as mowers, tractors, twin-axle vehicles and sod cutters.
- Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes and hedge and brush trimmers.
- Ensure use of proper equipment and adhere to safety standards and precautions.
- Maintain, clean and repair tools, equipment and structures.
- Prepare daily task sheets and include all requested information.
- Monitor and report irrigation issues, problems and/or concerns on assigned field complex.
- Gather and remove litter.
- Provide support in other stadium activities and special events.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Two years' minimum field maintenance experience at a baseball/athletic facility.
- Skilled in all technical areas of field maintenance, including equipment use, fertilization, mowing skills, mound and plate maintenance and infield skin maintenance.
- Knowledge and experience growing warm and cool season grasses.
- Valid Arizona Driver License or demonstration of the ability to immediately obtain one.

Landscaper
Reports to: Landscape Supervisor
Status: Part-Time
Landscapers will be responsible for maintaining landscape for all common areas, landscapes and surrounding right of ways for the entire facility to the highest standard.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned. Follow planned landscape, irrigation and chemical spraying programs. Care for established lawns by cutting, aerating, verticutting, top-dressing and weeding; trim and edge around trees, walks and walls. Prune and trim trees, shrubs, and hedges. Report landscape issues such as pests, weeds, disease, irrigation problems, etc. Mix and spray or spread fertilizers, herbicides or insecticides onto grass, shrubs and trees using hand or automatic sprayers or spreaders and properly documents application/usage. Operate powered equipment such as mowers, tractors, twin-axle vehicles, chain-saws, electric clippers and sod cutters. Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, hedge and brush trimmers and axes. Ensure use of proper equipment and adhere to safety standards and precautions. Maintain, clean and repair tools, equipment and structures. Prepare daily task sheets and include all requested information. Operate and maintain landscape irrigation systems. Provide proper upkeep of sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, planters and other grounds features. Gather and remove litter. Perform other duties as assigned.
